Thanks, Momma, for being so amazing. Keith loves you for the great mother-in-law that you are and I couldn't ask for a better Nana for my boys. My only wish is that we all lived closer so they could spend more time with you. We love you so much and hope you have an amazing day!
Here are a few of the pictures that I have on my computer to share with you all.
This was taken a couple of days before Garrett was born. My mom came up to help me get last minute things finished. (My shirt was made for me by a fellow teacher. The picture is a 3D ultrasound of Garrett.)
The day after Garrett was born, in my hospital room.
Garrett's first Thanksgiving. He was almost 3 months old. At this time, these were my mom's only 2 grandkids. Riley had just turned 3.

The weekend of my sister, Christie's, highschool graduation. My nephew Jake was a few weeks old. Garrett was 9 months old.

About 8 months after my parents moved to Indiana, Garrett and I flew up for a long weekend visit. He was 17 months old.

The weekend that my brother, Jesse, graduated from highschool. Garrett was a few months away from turning 3, Jake had just turned 2, and Riley was 5 and a half.
The weekend that my brother, Brad, and sister-in-law, Kristen, graduated from college, my mom and I happened to meet Beth Moore. If you don't know who she is, you can google her, but briefly, she writes women's Bible studies and speaks all over the country. She was super nice. And I obviously was having a terrible hair day, which was unfortunate.

The summer of 2008, my mom's family had a family reunion. This is my mom with her mom and her 2 sisters.

Later that summer, my cousin, Stephanie, got married and Garrett was the ringbearer. This was taken right before the wedding.

Christmas of 2008 we went to Indiana to spend the holiday with my family. Here are my parents with all 3 of their granchildren (at the time, my sister and I were both pregnant with the last 2 grandkids). Garrett was 3, Jake was 2 and a half, and Riley was 6.

This was taken the day after we came home from the hospital with Cooper. My mom came and stayed with us for 2 weeks and it was a HUGE help! I could not have gone through that transition period with her.

When we went to visit my parents for Thanksgiving, last year. Cooper was 5 months old.
And another picture from that trip. This was the last time we saw my parents in person, though we do Skype occasionally. We'll be seeing them this summer and I'm very excited!!Happy Birthday Nana!

That was really sweet. I had seen some of these pictures already but enjoyed looking at them again.
I had forgotten how much Garrett looks exactly the same as when he was born. His face had just gotten bigger and more mature but it's exactly the same face!
The video was cute too.
This was very sweet, Lydia! Thank you for writing it. Sorry I just now got around to reading it!!! I've been meaning to ever since you told me you were going to write it, just kept forgetting!
