Shockingly I somehow lost 2 pounds more this week. I seriously don't know how that happened because it was a crazy busy week with lots of unhealthy eating. (On a related note, I'm trying to figure out how to handle situations like playgroup meeting at McDonald's. It's usually for several hours, starting before I'm hungry for lunch and ending once I'm over-hungry for lunch. I ended up getting a kids' happy meal this week, which, according to WW was probably the best choice, but still not great.) So, that makes a total of 10 pounds gone! I'm starting to notice some in my jeans, so that's a nice feeling.
I did "The Shred" workout for the first time this past week and oh my word! It's only 20 minutes long, but it is seriously a butt-kicking. She keeps you in constant motion from second 1. Nothing terribly difficult, jumping jacks, push-ups, crunches, etc. But when you aren't in shape and you're moving from one to the next with nary a breather, it gets exhausting. I can tell it's going to be a good alternative to walking though, but I won't be moving up to Level 2 anytime soon!
Now that I'm down 10 pounds, it's nice to see that middle number on the scale drop a notch. And it's good motivation to keep going. Only 20 pounds to go until I reach my intial goal for myself!

That's awesome Lydia! It feels great to see results like that! I would love to see the scale go 10 pounds lower! I've heard good things about the "Shred" - it sounds like a lot of the stuff we are doing at our bootcamp. Some days I feel like she just might be trying to kill us. She has started us off with some really advanced exercises that are nearly impossible for those of us who haven't worked out in forever. I'm hoping that by next week, I'll be feeling some results AND not feeling like I'm going to die within 10 minutes of starting the workout! Keep up the good work!
When you mentioned the play dates at McDonald's it made me think of an idea. Have you thought of bringing yourself a healthy snack to munch on when you start getting hungry? It might get you through till you can eat something healthier at home. I love the Fiber One granola bars! It tastes like a dessert and has tons of fiber. Just an idea. I know I would totally be eating McDonald's because I love that place! I love their ice coffees and McChicken sandwiches. lol
Sounds like you are doing great! If we ever meet other kids at McDonalds I have to pack the kids a lunch because they won't eat any fast food except Chic-fil-a, so I would just pack your own lunch if it's a lunch date. They won't say anything to you becasue we do it all the time!
Let's try this!

yay! It worked!
Good job in your 10 lbs. That's a great start. Your goal is very doable and reasonable. Keep up the good work!
